British Columbia's Sustainable Forest Management Indicator Knowledge Base

BC’s SFM Indicator Knowledge Base 2007 is a collection of over 350 scientifically-reviewed indicators related to BC-relevant criterion. This knowledge base contains information on the rationale, description, methods of measuring and monitoring, and research needs for each of the indicators herein. As well, organizations which use the indicator and report data for it are also listed, along with all relevent references and some further reading.

The hierarchy of the BC SFM Knowledge Base 2007 is the criteria and elements of the Montreal Process, but an extra criteria and some new elements have been created here to fit the values and needs expressed by British Columbians throughout the research process.
